Product information:
Epispring® is made of impregnated steel. We use steel because of its higher carbon (C) content. Carbon increases the hardness of the material.
This improved hardness increases the strength of the spring, which allows the spring to better grab and remove hairs.

Why isn’t stainless steel used?
Stainless steel is a much softer type of steel because it contains much less carbon (C).
Stainless steel also heightens the chance of any allergic reactions as it contains a larger quantity of nickel.

15 to 20% of women and 5% of men have an allergic reaction to nickel…
This high grade stainless steel contains 13% of nickel, this is required to make the steel stainless!

The Epispring® deluxe has an extra chrome treatment which increases shine.
